- buffaloo 6y agoBecause high density areas have hospitals to mass vaccinate and rural areas don’t. Rural areas are often disproportionally older. The “sites” are actually “events.”
- bradknowles 6y agoBecause it literally helps kill the opposition?
- buffaloo 6y agoMissourians are straight-shootin' plain-speakin' people as a group. The state is divided into regions and supply allocated by population. Dense population areas have medical infrastructure, rural areas don't - many served by helicopter from distant hospitals. The vaccination eligibility schedule does prioritize "equitable" groups over the general population. If you have a better plan, "Show Me." You can run the numbers yourself with the supply data here: https://covidvaccine.mo.gov/supply/ https://covidvaccine.mo.gov/supply/
