Additionally, I think it is important that us as global citizens take responsibility and take action to mitigate the consequences of climate change. Our government needs to promote alternate forms of energy, such as solar, geothermic, and oceanic sources. There will be consequences for the many years where climate change and protecting the environment were not a priority, but now we have to make it a priority.
