Don't SmartTV manufacturers risk getting fried with GDPR? If I didn't consent to the TV phoning home my habits, then it is legally not allowed to do so. Remember when Google got fined 50 megaeuros? They sent location data despite user opt-out. I guess Samsung wants to be more popular than Google.
