Completely off-topic, but I find it weird when someone is making a comment on the warmth of a community says things like “Love was free and it was custom to hug everyone”. So it was normal, then?
It probably has something to do with being born in Brazil/RJ, where hugging everyone is the norm.
- ulucs 6y agoI think frowning upon physical contact is a British custom that spread far because of all the imperialism. It's really weird how people avoid close contact, something a human body needs.
- Wildgoose 6y agoWe traditionally shake hands when we greet - that's physical contact. Whereas East Asians typically bow and make no physical contact at all. So your comment simply isn't true and doesn't really make much sense. (I haven't downvoted you by the way).
