It seems the next scam on the matter is "the big 5".
Nope, all these do not work or account for peoples ability to change or simply...lie.
Look at how wrong Freud was in hindsight. These tests will be regarded like Freud's cacophony in the future.
Psychology today is not an accurate science at all. Interpret these tests with plenty of salt. There is no a little bit wrong, there is no a little bit pregnant.

- erhk 6y agoI agree with you up until "people lie so it's wrong" None of these tests are useful on predicting how a person actually will behave or how they will make decisions. First, it's only personal perception of self which is nebulous at best and strictly wrong at worst. Did the Nazis see genocide as evil? Would they test into INTJ or into ENTP? Try to answer the question of which category a homeless man on the brink of starvation would fall into. All of the descriptors are happy and fluffy candy for white collar narcissists. Nowhere on the 16 personalities does it draw a line on who would kill for their own survival. Oh wow, you identify with the traits that you self elected. That's lovely.
