- antjanus 6y agoI'm Czech and under the dialect where I grew up, "Zluda" could be translated to "evil person/monster" or "mischievous person/monster". Growing up, people sometimes called their kids "zludy" (plural of "zluda" in my language) -- or trouble-makers.
- hackyhacky 6y agoInteresting. Possibly a variant of the standard word zrůda?
- antjanus 6y agoYeah, could be! I grew up close to the polish/slovak/czech border. I bet some of those words got mixed together.
- neolog 6y agoOff topic...I heard that a common Polish swear-word is "cholera", because the disease is so bad. Is that true?
