I read most of this article and this person is young and single. Even given that, there is some astoundingly bad advice in here (eg, the “I recommend 30% in crypto + individual stocks”). I think a better analysis would be to compare their personal strategy against a baseline one: ie, if they had invested everything from the beginning (including their NBA cards!!) in a total market index fund. I think it is fine to engage in lots of strategies, including investing in individual stocks, but that should not be included in a portfolio recommended to others.
