My mazda 3 has a touchscreen too - but its disabled while the car is moving. Every function is quite accessible from the physical controls, and they're in a good location, good tactile feedback and different sizes of buttons to knobs etc. It is clearly designed away from "touchscreen", but if you are parked it functions fine with touch.
