Any kind of LCD screen is a security hazard at night. Even black are lit enough to cause distraction and prevent getting used to the dark.
- nabla9 6y agoBlue LCD's and LED's are both security risk and UI failure. BMW does it right. Their orange red is perfect for the dark.
- alacombe 6y agoAll manufacturer did it right 15 years ago, thus why I won't buy any vehicle made after 2010'ish.
- tenebrisalietum 6y agoYou're right--mine has an option to turn off the screen completely. It would be nice if the systems detected ambient light automatically and went into a redshift mode when it is dark.
