Off the top of my head, I think you could do ‘-f bestaudio’ with ‘—output-format m4a’ to automatically get the best audio and convert to m4a format.

Off the top of my head, I think you could do ‘-f bestaudio’ with ‘—output-format m4a’ to automatically get the best audio and convert to m4a format.
- lozf 6y agoLossy transcodes always cause sound quality to deteriorate due to the way these "perceptual codecs" were designed to discard audio data to save space. Better to choose the more appropriate format for your needs, and not convert it.
