Show HN: Site unresponsive? Check if it's down everywhere with OnlineOrNot
- 1f60c 6y agoIf a site is down, it doesn't show anything :( https://onlineornot.com/status/loading.com https://onlineornot.com/status/loading.com
- rozenmd 6y agoHey, good catch! Just fixed that - should show "ERROR" for now. Eventually it'll tell you the Status code, and whether it's a timeout, 4xx, or 5xx error.
- higgins 6y agocool site. youtube appears to be having a service disruption right now but reports "OK" here: https://onlineornot.com/status/youtube.com https://onlineornot.com/status/youtube.com maybe it's popular enough to special case the "onlineornot" implementation (ie: "can i play a video")? thanks for sharing!
- rozenmd 6y agoHey, fair point! So far it just checks whether the site itself is reachable - I might add the ability to check functionality in the future.
