I've based my startup (www.groupsapp.online) on GCP and so far so good.. their free tier is really good. If you design your arch so that you only need lower-end instances your monthly bill becomes a joke. Datastore is ridiculously cheap too (but stay away from SQL, that can be expensive). 8 months ago I migrated to GCP from another cloud provider and found it more stable
