Not quite a billion dollar mistake (like null in other languages) but the with statement in Pascal was on reflection a big mistake. I have wasted a day trying to untangle some code that was blown up when I removed a with statement. Unfortunately it didn't completely cause compilation errors but in a few cases linked in the wrong thing and totally misbehaved at runtime.
