This attitude is frustrating, because the general response to content moderation by fiat is “who are social media companies to decide for us?” Then someone builds a tool to let users decide for themselves, and the goalposts shift to “is creating echo chambers like this good for society?” It really makes me feel like the goal is not freedom of speech, but forcing everyone to listen.
