"Single cord" is not a great selling point when Oculus is wireless and very competitive on price. Oculus has lost a lot of good will from its community by requiring Facebook login, but many will probably stay with the best hardware, and they stand to gain new users to offset those who do leave.
- geoah 6y agoQuest 2 resolution is pretty meh, and graphic quality of the games that run natively on the device pale in comparison to what stream vr has to offer (alyx is soo pretty). I would expect sony to allow wireless connection for some games as it seems to be possible even in quest 2 via desktop vr. But some more latency sensitive games (beat saber) play much better with a cable.
