No no, you’ve got it backwards. Per the logic of the law, the restaurants should demand to be paid by Toyota for Toyota bringing them customers. People only drive cars to get to places they value. So why should Toyota capture all this value and not pay the restaurant industry? (I am being sarcastic but this is really the news industry’s argument)
