Why does nationalization cause these issues? I have always heard the opposite, that PRIVATIZATION causes these lapses in quality.
The greatest success story I've heard of (and I'm probably butchering the details) was a country nationalizing their oil&gas industry, and splitting the profits between their citizens.

- nightowl_games 6y agoSaskTel is a great example of a socialized service. I'm typing this on a fiber to the home connection that I've had for many years. Our province is so sparse that without SaskTel, we would all probably be getting shafted by Bell.
