Restaurant-Software Provider Toast Prepares for IPO
- LinuxBender 6y agoI eat at a restaurant that uses their gear. It was a little bumpy at first, but the servers seem to find it usable. The same people have been working at this restaurant for 15 to 30 years, so I think it was a good test. A couple of them grumble about the handheld devices for various reasons, including takes time to get used to them and the UI quality also depends on the manager that is configuring the system. The handheld devices need improvements in battery longevity they go bad too soon
