I run a small SaaS making just $100 MRR ish, I set up automated Ping from UptimeRobot and use Sentry to log exception, currently trying to set up Monit to restart service if it goes down or over use memory. The SaaS provide just a small feature, if it goes down, the users probably wont have noticeable impact. Most issue are solvable by just restarting web server, I have SSH app installed on my phone on the go lol
