I don't know what the author makes, but in his article he is commenting quite a lot.... Also it seems like he got into a position with responsibility and now kind of feels superior. (The article is pretty vague, but it's how I interpret it) I get that it's frustrating when there are a lot of dumb comments in the internet, but this doesn't mean all commenting is bad. Why is this on top of HN?
