Yea. I am a programmer and sometimes think of what else I could have done. I remind myself I don’t hate my day to day, and often enjoy it. I remind myself that many other careers are available to me as a hobby since I can afford cameras, paint, whatever. I also have the time to do it. Many of the other careers don’t afford this.
