Peyote is a sacred plant for many indigenous tribes, and at the behest of the native community, the bill will not decriminalize peyote, or mescaline when it is sourced from peyote.
That is really disappointing.

- imesh 6y agoIt is already vulnerable list and if stopped being illegal it would be endangered in months. Synthetic mescaline is already a thing.
- LocalH 6y agoYou mean if it stopped being illegal there wouldn't be people who start producing their own peyote? I find that hard to believe.
