I think so. I try to tell my kids the truth, including when I am not sure of my answers and why. However, the point resonated with me, mainly due to my memories of what I believed simply because an adult told me so. I'm a little ahead of my kids in understanding the world, but not so far, and probably in the wrong direction. I try to remember that I need to make my position as clear as my answer.
