Insightful point. This kinda reminds me of stereotypical SV startups with only young employees. Without peers who are more experienced and often psychologically more well-equipped to handle adversity, you see a lot of situations that could otherwise be learning moments instead become blow ups. I suppose that's not the only parallel. Absentee authority figures is another one.
