Don’t airports with multiple terminals end up needing a people mover anyway? Would have made more sense for Bart to terminate at Millbrae and extend the SFO air train to it so Caltrai/Bart transfers worked better.
- mleonhard 6y agoThe train can simply stop at each terminal, just like it does at downtown subway stops.
- bobthepanda 6y agoThe problem is that airports like LAX are in a loop away from a main road. If the light rail diverted into said loop to serve the terminals directly, it would slow down the trip of everyone not going to or coming from the airport.
