Do non-EVs need more chips, due to the greater complexity and # of moving parts for fossil-fueled engines?
- wcoenen 6y agoI have a friend who works for a semiconductor company that mainly makes sensor chips for the car industry, and he confirmed this. Modern diesel engines in particular are very complex and require a lot of sensors.
