- ggm 6y agoThis was a fascinating and good read. I have one criticism which I make often in this area, and it may simply be about nomenclature. Why does this article never mention operations research, or linear optimisation? This boundary between modelling, epidemiology and decision-making is precisely what operations research was designed to work in: what bounds, what costs, what consequences shape decision making in this situation.
