If you want something in the vein of Diablo 2 but with a different aesthetic (and not always online) then try Torchlight 2.
- bloodorange 6y agoWhile Torchlight and Torchlight 2 have a lot of "quality of life" improvements and are decent games in general, I've found that they lack the replay value which Diablo 2 (with LOD) has. I can't exactly say why but this is how it felt to me.
- eru 6y agoYou might have been older when you played Torchlight 2 than when you played Diablo 2?
- bloodorange 6y agoI'm afraid, to me, that doesn't seem like sufficient explanation. Now, given a choice, even with outdated graphics, I'd rather play Diablo 2 than play Torchlight 2.
- eru 6y agoGames seem more magic when we are younger.
- minimaxir 6y agoTorchlight requires mods to be playable. The recent rereleases of Torchlight 2 for console (even with some QoL additions) that did not support mods were...not good.
