Would have been interesting to see data-points from before 2015...
- adjkant 6y agohttps://www.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/babyname.cgi https://www.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/babyname.cgi should do it
- CameronNemo 6y agoIs there a way to get the raw percentages rather than the rank?
- smogcutter 6y agoEspecially once you get outside the top 10 or so, I expect the percentages quickly get very small and very close. Even 5% would make a name astoundingly common. Like, more than one in every classroom common.
- Gys 6y ago'The year when the name Alexa was most popular is 2015. In that year, the number of births is 6052, which represents 0.311 percent of total female births in 2015.' From https://www.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/babyname.cgi https://www.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/babyname.cgi

- CameronNemo 6y agoYeah but I am interested in looking at the trend line then doing a regression discontinuity analysis.
- sib 6y agoRight - the year after Amazon's Alexa was announced.
