- tokenadult 15y agoThat's an interesting karma (and "clout") model there, which may be of interest as an example of how social clues can promote good discussion.
- markkat 15y agoThanks. It's unproven at scale, but so far, so good! IMHO it's more effective to make water flow where you want, rather than to keep it from flowing where you don't. :) A little of both is necessary, but I think the first approach has more stability.

- markkat 15y agoHa! I like the 'content-wise' disclaimer. It's a bit of an ugly duckling, and I'm working on that. As for the content, thanks. Slowly but surely... It's funny. Sometimes I think our small group is in a competition, trying to one-up each other in esoterica.
