There was news out on Wednesday about YC-backed Kalshi raising $30 million: https://www.wsj.com/amp/articles/online-trading-platform-will-let-investors-bet-on-yes-or-no-questions-11613557800 https://www.wsj.com/amp/articles/online-trading-platform-wil.... The big difference is that they are approved by the CFTC, hopefully resulting in higher trading limits and more liquidity.
