This project is cool, and it is cool to have alternatives to Electron for cases that call for something like Electron. Something that is also cool is that Rust runs really well on the web (via WASM), which opens the door to building projects primarily with Rust and deploying them to the web with a web front-end. It will not suit every case, but in some cases it might save you from asking users to download a separate app that bundles a web browser engine.
