It seems to me like the animations are better but the illusion of "real human" is not as good as the texture and models themselves are lower resolution. Especially the close up of the eyes. Either way, both are still within the uncanny valley to my eyes. The animation of Andy Serkis reading Macbeth made me feel very uneasy.
