Stepping outside this particular argument for a second, do you think it's possible to know the beliefs and motivations of "most people"? I don't. (Personally, I don't think very many people understand their own beliefs, much less that of others.)
- chmod600 6y agoI don't expect that I understand someone else's beliefs at a particular point in time. But I find it implausible that anyone changes their actual beliefs fast enough to keep up with these political fashions. So that's why I don't think most left-leaning people believe in these fashions.
- edmundsauto 6y agoAre you tracking the views of individuals, or is it possible that different people with different views are speaking at different times?
