Same here. This is something that I believe that Sqlalchemy should fundamentally take a bet on. Dataclasses are now inherently part of python. They are also used across the ecosystem (e.g. pydantic). It makes sense to use them for model declaration. Hope Sqlalchemy becomes dataclasses first...and not just as a compatibility feature.
