I was going to say, either the author is operating in bad faith, or they’re wildly uninformed about this subject. There is a massive report of proposed regulations that even I now know about. That the author is claiming that the “left” can’t propose specific regulations makes me think that they really just have an axe to grind and should be generally ignored.
