I'm not sure where you live, but where I currently live, scheduling an appointment and visiting the DMV is actually a pretty stress-free and easy task to take care of.
I also happen to live in a city with a municipal ISP that provides 1GB/s fiber service to most of our city. It's the best ISP I've ever had in terms of service and even customer service. Establishing my account was painless, the in-home install was free and scheduled right away. The one time I've had to call their customer service, I got to talk to a live competent person right away too. Never had service like that with Comcast. I imagine I'm not alone with this experience.
- jschwartzi 6y agoWe don't even have to go to the Department of Licensing to renew anything here. You can do it all online. The only time you'd need to go anywhere is to apply for a new license or to update your photo or physical characteristics. They even take credit cards. Government only sucks if you accept it sucking as a foregone conclusion. Hold government accountable and it will stop sucking.
