  Annoyingly, they didn't include "I am not a cat" into the transcription - he actually said that live at the beginning of his statement, got a chuckle out of me.

  This document omits his utterance that "[he is] not a cat", was it edited before being made public? And if so, why?

    As far as I know witnesses submit their testimony in written form ahead of time.
