Apple M1-native malware has already begun to appear

  That title is factually correct, but IMO click-bait. There’s no mention of M1-specific exploits, so as far as I can tell, all that happened is that the malware author checked a checkbox to build an universal binary for both x64 and ARM. That might even have happened in response to a helpful/nagging prompt from their build system to change the configuration to build an universal binary.
