Honestly they got me for a couple of years with this. The $10/month digital subscription was hitting my credit card, but every time I tried to cancel I ran into issues. It took took quite a while before I got annoyed enough to put the effort in to actually cancel it. It is such a scummy tactic. I tell everyone not to subscribe to NYT just based on that experience.
