"were" as in past tense? no longer happening? I have my doubts it has stopped.
- ashtonkem 6y agoI suspect you’re right, but in this case it’s clear that they’re saying “were” because their involvement in the music industry is past tense; they would have little first hand knowledge whether or not it’s common nowadays.
