Any time I have tried to use Windows 10, I have been put off by the inexplicable input lag. I touch the trackpad, then a few hundred ms later the cursor moves.

Any time I have tried to use Windows 10, I have been put off by the inexplicable input lag. I touch the trackpad, then a few hundred ms later the cursor moves. It feels like wading through treacle.
This is a fresh install on a Thinkpad X1 Extreme, I can only assume that this is close to the optimal user experience. I don't know how people can tolerate it.
- marliechiller 6y agodoesnt sound like anything to do with windows 10, ive never experienced anything like that before and ive used it on multiple devices
- dempseye 6y agoIt could well be something else, like a trackpad driver, but I have no real desire to run Windows 10, so I am not going to spend any time troubleshooting it. It was just a terrible first impression.
- antihero 6y agoThat sounds like some other issue. Pretty sure the gaming community would not put up with 100ms input lag.
