How architects make decisions – or why you might spend a fortune on a red car
- anticristi 6y agoI feels we've come a long way. As an architect, I try to capture all high-level technical decisions in MADRs: https://adr.github.io/madr/ https://adr.github.io/madr/
- gHeadphone 6y agoI love the markdown MADR you have referred to. I have worked in tech for 25 years, 16 in architecture, and capturing alternatives is pretty rare in my experience, so thank you for sharing. I’ve also come across departments and organisations who use a template as an reason to stop thinking. For me, the most important point from Simon and the EA Anamnesis paper is to think, and be aware of how you think.
