Ask HN: Amazon Failed to Deliver an Order
Hi there. Have a question for collective intelligence. In a situation when Amazon promised to deliver by a certain date, and then failed to do so, issuing assurances that it will be delivered up to the date the package is supposed to arrive - what can be done?
Talking to amazon help did not help - got stuck in an endless loop going from one person to another asking the same questions and failing to escalate to a local (U.S.) customer support.
Is there anything that can be done here? Or just accept it as inevitable?

- java-man 6y agoi am afraid that's not acceptable (for me). they did not deliver on time - at all - they never sent the package. my point is they promised a delivery, and failed, while feeding me lies when i called.
- QuinnyPig 6y agoSo what's your ideal outcome? "This is unacceptable" is all well and good, but what realistic outcome are you after here that will satisfy you?
