Yeah, that seemed a bit of a stretch. Maybe a stronger case could be made for blueprints as functions, and blueprints that execute other blueprints as higher-order functions. (I've played a lot of Factorio, but haven't really delved very far into the more exotic things that can be done with blueprints and circuit networks.)
