I like it because it creates a small binary executable that is easy to deploy. Other stuff like Java or Python have big VMs or interpreters that are error prone

I like it because it creates a small binary executable that is easy to deploy. Other stuff like Java or Python have big VMs or interpreters that are error prone and take up room. Also if you want a small container a go binary is small.
