It could be Stockholm syndrome for sure. I have not used Linux enough lately or OSX basically at all to know what they are like. I know the advantages and the warts of Windows very well, and I know neither for other operating systems.
The "I'm very sorry" comment was meant to be strictly in relation to symbol servers where Windows is clearly ahead (although Linux may be making progress in this area).
- mijoharas 6y agofirst off, thanks for the article! I always enjoy reading them. Secondly, I think it's a very good point you raised. Sad to see the situation hasn't progressed much in the linux world, as reading about Microsoft's symbol servers, they seem incredibly useful!
