Very thorough analysis that could use an update. I feel sites like levels.fyi and Blind have given us a better look into the salaries of top (and not so top) paying companies. However they are missing the vast majority of companies paying modest salaries. I suspect these make up the bulk of the lower peak of a theoretical bimodal distribution.
