His proposal also includes universal healthcare similar to Switzerlands system. People aren't left to die in Switzerland.

- username90 6y agoEveryone is forced to buy the same basic health insurance in Switzerland, that is what makes it universal healthcare instead of just another health insurance. It is subsidised depending on your income, but the UBI version would just be a part of your UBI that automatically pays for the health insurance so subsidised in a similar manner. You can add extra services above the basic insurance, but the basic insurance covers the same things as typical European universal healthcare so there is no need to.
