This is a huge loss. Whenever I get stuck on a WebGl or OpenGl problem, invariably I find an answer or some sample code that Gregg has written that helps me right through it.
I also worked with him on a graphics team many years ago, and it was just the same. He was the guy who knew graphics inside out, and could whip up a crazy demo in no time.
- gigatexal 6y agoThe thankless few who spend hours crafting good answers to help people asking in the void like this are the real heroes of society. So are those working on open source only to get hate from users. This, indeed is a huge loss.
